Achievements:
TRIXIE owned by Kevin Schulte came for a summer 2007 vacation to start her field and show experiences.She melted into our lifestyle like a seasoned performer. Anything we asked of her she did.She won a show point at her second dog show after handing her at ringside to handler Ann Keil . The next week she started her bird work and in two sessions was ready to pass her first Junior Hunter test.She is a happy moving dog in field and show . At just a few dog shows she learned how to show and seemed to mature physically and performance wise each weekend. TRIXIE returned(Carol Schwartz met her owner halfway) in June 2009 to finish her show title. At her first show on July 4th Carol handed her to Ann Keil. TRIXIE showed with the class and maturity of a campaigned special. She went Winners Bitch for a 2 pt. Cindy Long handled TRIXIE to Best of Winners to take her second major.With three more wins in July we are looking forward to completing her title this summer. TRIXIE had a few weeks off from the shows and had some fun getting back to her hunting sessions on pigeons.We entered and ran in two August Hunt tests in Michigan hosted by the Southern Weimaraner CLub, Trixie passed both days in sweltering heat. She hunted the full time and saw her first quail in over two years. Health tests were done in June before she started her shows.Results posted on www.offa.org. Due to a work conflict Trixie went to her last Junior Hunter test and met Jen Miller who handled her to her best passing scores! Thanks Jen! for finishing Trixie’s JH! Sept.12,2009 TRIXIE went BOW to finish her show championship, handled by Sue Branch for Ann Keil. Sue finished up the last two points for her title.
