“Brok”

Vizsla Club of Michigan Specialty BOW(3 pt major) July 8, 2007 from BBE class

Achievements:
BROK was a friendly outgoing puppy. He had a surrogate trainer/handler for his puppy kindergarten and learned lessons with in class training as they could not practice during the week. We are happy to have his hips tested at a young age and not have to worry about that part of his future.BROK is showing a normal aptitude in the field at this age. BROK’s first dog show was Memorial Day(May 2006). He won Best of Breed from the Bred By Exhibitor Class over 5 specials. It was his first experience at an all-breed event on a show lead. Between shoulder high bounces he showed well for his first show.Ms. Judy Webb who judged the Vizsla Club of America National Specialty in 2003 gave him his first Best of Breed win.Brok won a major in August 2006 from the BBE class with fewer vertical leaps.(I learned that his mother Bounce did the same behavior at her first dog show experience in New Zealand when she was awarded a Best Puppy in Match not long before she was exported to the USA.Thanks Yvonne for sharing that story. It is nice to know I am not alone in that inablity to keep them at ground level) December 17, 2006 BROK went Winners Dog from the Bred By Exhibitor Class for a major win(3 point) at the Western Reserve Kennel Club.BROK went Reserve Winners Dog the day before and both days he showed with maturity, until he saw all the dogs in the Best of Breed competition and lost his composure.Though no leaping, he had new ways to show his exuberance and had to go home with only Winners Dog. BROK started on his Junior Hunter title March 24,2007. His first weekend gave him two passes towards his title. He still likes to leap on leash while waiting for his brace. The following weekend BROK finished his Junior Hunter requirements with scores of 9 out of 10 in the four categories. BROK resumed his showing May 28,2007 after a 6 month break and July 8, 2007 he won Best of Winners from the Bred By Exhibitor class at the Vizsla Club of Michigan Specialty. His sister Payton was Winners Bitch for a major too from the Bred By Exhibitor class. On July 13,2007 BROK went Best of Winners over the Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex (over specials) under the Romanian judge Cristian Stefanescu for a 4 point major. BROK finished his show championship August 4,2007.All wins from the Bred By Exhibitor class. . BROK has placed 4th in the Amateur Walking Derby at the Vizsla Club of Michigan(4-28-07) and the Irish Setter Club of Michigan(05-05-07). BROK went to Canada Sept.1,2008 and earned two points with a Best of Winners and won Best Bred By Exhibitor in Sporting Group. BROK’s son TRAVIS from Ch. Annian Special Op Sally, JH won a major(from BBE class) his first dog show at 7 months and 2 more majors the same weekend. The next show circuit 2 weeks later he won another major and single points the third show of the circuit to finish his American championship. Congratulations to Sue Towne on another Bred By Exhibitor champion! And to his co-owner Erica and family who raised a wonderful dog to finish his title so quickly.AUDREY (daughter to Brok/Sally) won her first show points(BBE class) the day after TRAVIS finished his title. BROK passed his Canine Good Citizen test Sept.13, 2009. Brok’s daughter “Audrey” finished her Junior Hunter Jan. 10,2010 and daughter “Mina” has a Junior Hunter and fiedl trial juvenile placements and show points. “Audrey” finished her AM. CH.Annian’s My Fair Lady in August 2010. “Glory” is now Canadian CH. Chakra’s Bound For Glory FDj owner breeder handled to her titles and a specialty win.”Audrey” and “Glory” were Brok’s entry for the stud dog class of the 5oth VCA celebration to AKC NAtionals 2010. BROK was shown by Sue Branch in summer of 2010 to prepare him for the 50th AKC anniversary for the Vizsla, celebrated by the Vizsla Club of America at their National Specialty. Brok was an Award of merit at the Miami Valley Vizsla Club Specialty.BROK picked up 15 single points towards a Grand Championship. After Nationals I brought him home.I took him to the Cleveland Winter Classic in December and on the third day was awarded a Select major. Since BROK liked a run over an agility course I signed him into intro to Agility and Rally classes. He figured out the Rally without a basic obedience class.Agility showed us BROK was a natural and did anything we showed him, with glee.He has won over the instructor and now he gets private classes. With those classes and handling class BROK has settled into the team concept and has improved since December in the show ring.In January he placed 3rd in Bred By Exhibitor Sporting Group. In February his Canadian daughter Adrian’s Dreamweaver(RUBY) was breeder owner handled by Sharon Faulds to a Sporting Group 4 and a Best Puppy in Sporting Group.RUBY finished her Canadian championship breeder owner handled. July 11,2011 RUBY went Best of Opposite Sex at Vizsla Canada National Specialty. Detroit Kennel Club benched shows with Vizsla Club of Michigan Supported entry. First day Brok was awarded a Select major breeder owner handled.Second show Brok handled by his breeder, owner handler won Best of Breed for the last major to earn his Grand Championship. Now we can get ready to compete for those other titles. Brok’s daughter,JNEK’s Landslide(“Stevie”) at her first weekend of shows at 6 months of age breeder/owner handled by Kathy Engelsman won Best of Winners and Best of Opposite Sex at the Central Wisconsin Vizsla Club Specialty for a 5 point major. At the Vizsla Club of Michigan Specialty July 11,2011 STEVIE won Winners bitch for her second major.STEVIE is a lovely moving and standing. BROK earned the title of Registry of Merit for his titled progeny October 2013 from the Vizsla Club of America. We appreciate the efforts of the breeders and owners of his puppies for this award. A second BROK daughter won WINNERS bitch at a specialty in her first weekend at dog shows as a puppy and handled by breeder/owner Sheryl Hohle(Rocky Mountain Vizsla Club November 2013)ZETA and her brother HIGGS were Best in Sweepstakes and best of Opposite in Sweepstakes.Their dam is PERP(Konner/Cassie) of Salti Vizslas.
