Achievements:
Payton is owned by Warren and Kerry McKay of Queensland, Australia. She is growing up at breeder’s home until exported.Her owners bought Paradox Chatos Star from us in 1983.Payton will have a brief quarantine in comparison to Chato who spent over a year in England and 3 months in the Australian quarantine kennel. We are looking forward to preparing Payton for her journey. Payton stared her Junior Hunter title March 24, 2007. The first day was a passing score. Her second test she went bird crazy and hunted and chased the quail that had moved off the main course so she did not pass. With some work at home during the week for coming when called (easier to point birds in the bird field)she passed both days the next weekend with high scores. On April 21,2007 Payton passed her 4th and last Junior Hunter test. She hunted and handled well and scored all 8’s out of 10. The following weekend Payton placed third in the Amateur Walking Derby Stake at the Vizsla Club of Michigan spring field trial in Ionia, Michigan.May 5,2007 Payton ran in the Amateur Walking Derby at the Irish Setter Club of Michigan and placed third.May 12,2007 Payton placed 4th in an all-breed OpenDerby(walking handler)) at the Vizsla Club of Greater Cleveland Field trial. Payton has a natural honor we have recently discovered. That is a nice thig to see in a Derby dog. PAYTON completed he American show Championship(pending AKC approval) by going Winners Bitch from the Bred By Exhibitor class at the Vizsla Club of Michigan Specialty on July 8, 2007.Her brother BOK was Best of Winners for a 3 point major from the BBE class. PAYTON left the USA the end of October 2007 and decided to take one last run over the fields in the dark(she slipped out of the truck and off she went)..seeing no birds in the dark I was able to catch her, but she sure enjoyed that run.She whelped her puppies in Australia on Dec. 14, 2007.She is getting her show condition back and has been shown once for a res CC/RU BOB handled by Kerry McKay.Her puppies are going to shows with her.Payton is still the happy tail wagging dog for the judge’s exam that she was here.
