Achievements:
Digger was a talented field dog.(Australian import, linebred on Paradox Chatos Star) His drive, speed and spatial field intelligence was wonderful to see.He refused to let the first bird on course be left behind…which meant he went birdless or won the Derby Stake. As a gun dog..it meant he brought his handler the bird instead of staying on point and letting the handler find him on a far edge.He had gundog placements and Puppy/Derby points from his field trial career. He retired to watch over the house and us. And raised many litters of puppies for the females who had to party with their toys.If he could have nursed the puppies, he would have. He was never lame or sick(unless he ate too much sand) and died of old age at almost 15 years of age early September 2012.
