Achievements:
SASSY started her show career with handler Ann Keil in February 2008. She quickly won enough point to be within a 3 pt major from her title.Her OFA hips are GOOD ,elbows normal and her PennHIP is 80th percentile with DI of 0.3 both hips(old 90th percentile rating). SASSY won a major going Best of Winners at the Marion Ohio KC on Sunday July 27, 2008 to finish her championship. SASSY was bred to CH. Magyar Delta Dezso, JH and whelped Sept 18, 2008.6 girls, 2 boys.SASSY went back with her first owner Carol Sommerfelt in Tennessee. Litter co-bred by Carol and Nancy. SASSY came north after her litter and is now owned by Dr. Nancy Heinold and lives with Carol Schwartz. With a tune up on pigeons SASSY went to two hunt tests Aug.15 and 16th ,2009. She passed with ease though the heat and poor scenting conditions were difficult. Her scores were all 9’s her second day. And SASSY has not seen quail for 28 months. Not a recipe for developing a bird dog, but she showed raw natural ability and talent and ability to handle hot weather without conditioning. Only able to enter one test in September and Sassy passed again with great scores. We entered SASSY in a hunt test in Ohio where I was going to be doing some veterinary work. We dropped SASSY off with her show handler Ann Keil gave her a bag of hunt test equipment and told her to go finish that Junior Hunter title.Ann completed the need for a handler to fire over a point and flush.SASSY did the rest and passed with good scores.Ann enjoyed her first hunt test.
