MIMI was bred to DC Cody’s Dark Star at the request of Warren and Kerry McKay.Warren was impressed with the sound balanced structure of the 1982 National Field Champion Cody’s Dark Star and Nancy offered her mature brood bitch to compliment this dog’s qualities.Nancy drove MIMI all over southeastern USA to conceive that litter while Cody was with a professional dog show handler finishing his Dual Championship.Per the McKay’s instructions, Nancy picked the puppy that suited their needs for improving their Vizslas in Australia at that time.Eventually CHATO was exported to England for a year quarantine and then to Australia for 3 months quarantine before Warren and Kerry claimed their dog.
